20^th July 2007: Reunion Feast Young and Old Competition solution added
21^st February 2007: 2003 MacMillan Walk gallery added
12^th February 2007: Another thirty images have been added to theBill’s old pics gallery
6^th February 2007: A gallery of images from the Poetry evening is now online along with an audio slide show of the same images with Marilyn and Simon's introduction over the top. I am test driving a new application that produces slide shows with a sound track. The Poetry evening provided ideal material to test it out.
3^rd February 2007: Covington’s new drains gallery added along with Harvest Festival Supper 2002
2^nd February 2007: I have added the update log so that visitors can spot the latest additions to the scrapbook.
31^st January 2007: The Covington Scrapbook is now well on the way. The format is just about how I want it but I have only uploaded nine galleries so far. My portfolio is temporarily a subset of the scrapbook so my personal pages are at the moment a bit of a mess!
10^th December 2006: Decided to use the Covington Scrapbook as an online database to make it more useful than just a display of images. Using the format that websites normally use for guest-books, the hope is that visitors will feedback their own knowledge concerning the events and individuals depicted. Progress was stalled for a while while my service provider figured out why their installation instructions failed to provide a working ‘guest-book’. That problem has been solved, now I need to perfect the format for the individual galleries and program an automated system for generating them and keeping them up to date.
