Covington Book Group

The motivation to form the book group, apart from bringing together those in the village interested in books, was to find ways of using the village hall on a regular basis to help fund its upkeep. Our meetings, in the Village Hall, are very relaxed. The aim of each meeting is to focus on books! However, we have some snacks and liquid refreshment. In the winter we almost always have an open fire.		We have made links outside our small community nationally with World Book Night and internationaly through a charity “One Step At a Time” in Uganda.
